Who we are
Alvis (askalvis.com) is operated by Inumbra Labs FZ-LLC ("Alvis", "we"). Alvis is an AI-powered business operations assistant that connects to your existing business tools via OAuth and answers natural-language questions through WhatsApp.
What we collect
- Account data: email address, full name (if provided), business name.
- WhatsApp identifiers: phone number (E.164) and Meta Business-Scoped User ID, used to route messages to your account.
- Connected-tool tokens: OAuth credentials for the providers you choose to connect (e.g., Stripe, GitHub). Stored encrypted; we use them only to fulfill your queries.
- Conversations: messages you send to Alvis, our replies, and the tool calls used to produce them — kept as a compliance audit trail.
- Operational metadata: per-query latency, lookup counts (for billing), model used, and refusal decisions.
How we use it
- To answer your queries and execute actions in your connected tools.
- To bill you according to the plan you selected.
- To monitor product reliability, debug failures, and enforce our scope and compliance rules.
- To meet legal obligations (e.g., respond to lawful requests).
Where it's stored
Account, conversation, and integration data live in Supabase (PostgreSQL, hosted on AWS us-east-1). OAuth credentials for connected providers are managed by Composio. We use Upstash Redis for short-lived idempotency keys, PostHog for product analytics and error tracking, Inngest for durable background processing, and Resend for transactional email. Each subprocessor has its own privacy and security commitments.
AI processing
Alvis answers your questions using large language models — currently OpenAI's GPT-5.4 nano. Your messages and the relevant tool outputs are sent to the model to generate a reply. We do not train models on your data.
Sharing
We never sell your data. We share data only with the subprocessors listed above, and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose data when required by law.
Retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. On deletion we remove your account, integrations, conversations, and channel records within 30 days. Backup copies are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle. To request deletion before then, email privacy@askalvis.com.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, restrict processing, or have it deleted. Email privacy@askalvis.com.
